Laëtitia Hubert

Laetitia Hubert ( born June 23, 1974 in Paris) is a former French figure skater who started in a single run. She is the Junior World Champion of the year 1992.

Career

Hubert can look back on an unusually long and varied figure skating career. From 1990 to 2002, she was active in the senior level and took place during this period in almost all European and world championships in figure skating. It is one of the few athletes this sport, which brought it to full four appearances at the Winter Olympics.

She was famous for its unpredictability and the range of variation of their performance. So she won, for example, 1997 Trophée Lalique, where it referred to Tara Lipinski second place. Thus it was next to Michelle Kwan is the only runner who succeeded in the 1997/98 season to beat the then reigning world champion, who should win the Olympic gold medal in the further course of the season. Just a week before Lalique Hubert had occupied the last seat at the Sparkassen Cup.
