Lagalla (crater)

Lagalla is an impact crater in southwestern lunar front side, to the west of the crater Tycho. The heavily eroded crater is covered in its north-eastern part of the crater Wilhelm, in the southeast of the crater rim auszumachende hardly touches the also highly eroded edge of Montanari.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian philosopher Giulio Cesare Lagalla.
