Laguna Beach is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Bay County in the U.S. state of Florida with 3,932 inhabitants ( 2010).

Laguna Beach is located approximately 15 kilometers west of Panama City and 180 km west of Tallahassee on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Through the CDP the U.S. Highway 98 ( SR 30A ) and the Florida State Road 30 lead

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 3,932 inhabitants distributed to 4,607 households. The population density was 595.8 inh. / Km ². 91.8 % of the population were white, 1.1% African American, 1.2% Native American and 0.8 % Asian Americans. 2.4% were members of other ethnic groups and 2.7% in different ethnic groups. 5.8% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 31.3 % of all households lived in 22.2 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 56.3 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 2.17 persons and the average family size is 2.66 people.

17.9% of the population were younger than 20 years, 23.8 % were 20-39 years old, 31.0 % were 40-59 years old and 27.3 % were at least 60 years old. The median age was 46 years. 50.6 % of the population were male and 49.4 % female.

The average annual income was $ 51,111, while 12.1 % of the population lived below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 97.03 % of the population spoke Spanish and 2.97%.
