Lahr, Bitburg-Prüm

Lahr is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality New Castle.

Geography

Lahr is idyllically situated in Notzenbachtal in the southern part of the West Eifel, about 8 km east of the border of Luxembourg ( Vianden ) and 40 km north- west of Trier.

History
