Längenbühl

Längenbühl was until 31 December 2006, a municipality in the administrative district of Thun in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Effective on January 1, 2007 Längenbühl has merged with forest to the new community forestry Längenbühl.

Geography

The village is located about seven kilometers west of the city of Thun. It has no central village, but consists of several small settlements, of which Dittligen ( bern German: " Dittlige " ) is the largest.

There are three smaller lakes in the former municipality, namely the Dittlig and Geistsee and a small forest pond.
