Le Comte Ory (Le Comte Ory ) is a comic opera in two acts by Gioachino Rossini. The libretto was written by Eugène Scribe and Charles have - Gaspard Delestre - Poirson based on the vaudeville piece Le Comte Orry et les Nonnes de Farmoutier. Formation

Performance history

The premiere of Le Comte Ory was a enthusiastically celebrated triumph, and the work remained for decades on the board of the Opera, in the 19th century for the last time in 1884.
