Geography

Leopold village is situated in the industrial area in Lower Austria, on the southern outskirts of Vienna. The area of ​​the municipality covers 6.94 square kilometers. 1.19 percent of the area is forested.

There are two Katastralgemeinden: Rustenfeld and Leopold village.

History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Pannonia. Named the community is by Leopold II of Austria.
