List of municipalities of Cameroon

The list of cities in Cameroon is a compilation of the 40 largest cities in the African country of Cameroon, according to population.

The two by far the largest conurbations are the capital Yaoundé in Cameroon, with a population of 2,586,734 and Douala with a population of 2,399,812 (as of 1 January 2005). Thus, about 30 percent of the people of the country focus in both regions.

In the following table are the cities of over 30,000 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) of 9 April 1976, and April 10, 1987, an estimate for January 1, 2005, and the province to which the city is listed. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
