List of New Mexico state parks

This is a list of state parks in the U.S. state of New Mexico. On 31 August 1933, launched by Governor Arthur Seligman, the New Mexico State Park Commission. As part of the New Deal 56 000 young men were employed and the Civilian Conservation Corps. Since then, 34 state parks have been created that are frequented annually by over 4 million visitors. Between 2004 and 2008, the government financing of 7.7 million was increased to $ 12.8 million under Governor Bill Richardson. In addition, in 2008, volunteers engage in 307500 volunteer hours worked, which corresponds to an equivalent of 4.1 million savings in dollars or 147 full-time employees.
