Utah State Parks

This is a list of state parks in the U.S. state of Utah. The first official considerations of state parks in Utah, there were in 1925, a public campaign, however, was not started until 1956. Under Governor George Dewey Clyde in 1957 founded the Utah State Park Commission. Visitor numbers have risen to nearly 4.5 million in 2005 from 1957 with 350000, with the Wasatch Mountain State Park with 442 069 (2006) can list the most visitors, however, Camp Floyd as one of the oldest parks in 1957 only 13 176 (2006).
