History
Opened in 1925 Alfons Loacker its pastry operation in Bolzano. As his family is originally from Götzis in Vorarlberg, he exhibited his Waffles ago by old Austrian model. He knew his craft so well that he soon became famous throughout South Tyrol for his waffles. 1974 took his three children, Armin, Rainer and Christine, the company and invested in new plants. Currently there are three. These lie in Unterinn, Bolzano and Hein rock in East Tyrol. Today the company is run by Armin Loacker and employs 360 people.
Loacker produced in 2006 to 17,000 tons of waffles, with half of the annual production in Hein rock is established and achieved annual sales of EUR 118.5 million. Almost half of the exported goods passes to the Middle East.
