Londrina ( officially: Municipio de Londrina; German: Klein- London) is a city in the Brazilian state of Paraná. It has total 506 701 inhabitants according to 2010 census, the estimate of the IBGE from July 1, 2013 is an increase on 537 566 inhabitants on. Londrina, whose inhabitants are called Londrinenser, so is the second largest city in Paraná and the fourth largest city in southern Brazil. The founding date is 10 December 1934. Greatest city industry is the soybean cultivation, followed by coffee cultivation and other agricultural products. After the state capital Curitiba and 100 km from Maringá about 380 km away, it is considered drittgrünste city in Brazil.

Attractions

The city's Londrina attractions include the cathedral, the Igapó lakes and shopping centers Catuaí in the southwest, and Royal Plaza in the city center. To the north is next to a car race track the Estadio do Café, home ground of the local Füßballmannschaft Londrina EC.
