Winner of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards in the category Best Supporting Actress ( Best Supporting Actress ). The American Film Critics Association is one of the first every year in early December with their awards for best film productions and film-makers of the current calendar year, known to be about a month later, in early or mid-January, awarded.
The most successful in this category were the American actresses Joan Allen and Maureen Stapleton (1925-2006), who could win the award twice. 14 times succeeded Film Critics Association to present pre- Oscar winner, last done in 2013, with the award to the Kenyan Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave).
