Lucian Burdujan (2011)

Lucian Burdujan (born 18 February 1984 in Piatra Neamţ ) is a Romanian football player. The striker is at Tawrija Simferopol in the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha under contract since November 2013.

Career

The career of Burdujan began in 2002 in Piatra Neamţ Ceahlăul in his hometown. There he came on 24 August 2002 in a 6-0 win against UTA Arad his first appearance in the first team, which at that time in Divizia A (now League 1) played. In the 2003 /04 season he became a regular player and contributed seven goals in the league.

In the summer of 2004 Burdujan Ceahlăul left and moved to Rapid Bucharest. There he was in season 2004/ 05 an integral part of the team and finished the season with his club on the third place. In the following years he was used less frequently, but managed to win the Cup victories in 2006 and 2007 his first two titles. Only in the 2007/ 08 season, he fought his way back into the team.

After four years in Bucharest to Burdujan graduated in 2008 at the distinguished league rivals FC Vaslui. As with Rapid Bucharest before he established himself in his first season as a regular player and pulled in both 2009 and 2010 in the Europa League. He had missed half the games due to injuries. At the same time he again reached the Romanian Cup final, but it lost to CFR Cluj in the penalty shootout.

During the winter break 2010/11 Burdujan moved to Steaua Bucharest. There he came in the second half only rarely. At the end of the season, he won his third Cup with Steaua win. In the summer of 2011 the club left again and joined the Ukrainian first division club Chernomorets Odessa.
