The San Juan Airport ( IATA: SJU, ICAO: TJSJ ) was opened in 1955 as Aeropuerto Internacional de Isla Verde and renamed Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín 1985. He is in the field of Puerto Rican town Carolina, but primarily serves as the capital of San Juan airport.
He is now the largest and only international airport of Puerto Rico and serves as a local hub for Caribbean American Airlines and American Eagle. From 1966 to 1984 he also served as a base and hub for Puerto Rico airline Prinair.

Incidents
- On March 15, 2012, a Convair CV 340 Jet One Express CVLP crashed after takeoff from San Juan Airport to engine failure, the two occupants of the cargo plane were killed.
