Lyndon Johnston

Lyndon Johnston ( born December 4, 1961 in Hamiota, Manitoba ) is a former Canadian figure skater, who started pair skating.

Johnston joined with three different figure skating partners internationally in appearance. His first figure skating partner from 1982 until 1985 Melinda Kunhegyi. 1984 and 1985 they were runners-up in the Canadian pair of running. The 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo, they finished in 12th place and in their only World Cup in 1985 they finished fifth.

From 1986 to 1988 Johnston ran on the side of Denise Benning. In 1986 and 1987 they were runners-up behind Canadian Cynthia Coull and Mark Rowsom. From 1986 to 1988 she took part in world championships and always finished it in fifth place. At the Olympic Games in Calgary in 1988, they were sixth.

Johnston's last figure skating partner was from 1989 to 1990 Cindy Landry. Despite the short time he was most successful with her.
