Isabelle Brasseur

Isabelle Brasseur ( born July 28, 1970 in Kingsbury, Quebec ) is a former Canadian figure skater who started in pair skating.

Figure skating partner Lloyd Eisler was your. With him it was in 1989 and 1991-1994 Canadian champion. They took in the period from 1988 to 1994 at the world championships. From 1990 to 1994, she always reached the podium. In 1992, she won the bronze medal, 1990, 1991 and 1994, she was vice-champion and 1993 world champion in Prague. Eisler and Brasseur run three Olympic Games. In Calgary in 1988 they finished in ninth place and 1992 in Albertville and 1994 Lillehammer she won the bronze medal. These were the first pair of running Olympic medals for Canada since winning the bronze medal by Debbi Wilkes and Guy Revell 1964. Choreographer of Brasseur and Eisler was Uschi Keszler.

After her career in late 1994 organized Eisler and Brasseur figure skating events across Canada to raise money for seriously ill children and for them to fulfill wishes.

Together with Eisler wrote in 1996 the book: To Catch a Dream and the successor title The Professional Years.

1996 Brasseur married to figure skater Rocky Marval. Their daughter came in 2000 to the world.
