Autópálya M3 (Hungarian for, M3 motorway ') is a motorway in Hungary. It runs in east-west direction from the capital Budapest to Eger and from the M30 to Miskolc. The driveway is located in Budapest on the Hungaria krt. The first 10 km run in the city and are run as a highway. When completed, the highway will allow the connection to the Ukraine.

In August 2006, another portion ( bypass of Nyíregyháza ) in the northeast of the country has been completed.

September 2007, the highway between Polgár and Nyíregyháza was opened to traffic. In Polgár branches off the M35, which establishes the connection to Debrecen from.

In Vásárosnamény the M34 northbound will branch after Zahony in the future.

On January 16, 2013, the hitherto missing piece between Nyíregyháza and Vaja was opened to traffic. Since June 2013, the section from Vaja is built towards Vasarosnameny. Work on the nearly 12km long section to be completed by the end of 2014.

Attractions

Right off the highway lies the Hungaroring located around 19 km from Budapest.
