Makoto Hasebe (Japanese长 谷 部 诚Makoto Hasebe, born January 18, 1984 in Fujieda ) is a Japanese football player who plays since 2013 in the German Bundesliga 1 FC Nuremberg.

Red Diamonds

The Fujieda from coming in Shizuoka Prefecture Hasebe was in January 2002 after graduating from high school pro at the Urawa Red Diamonds. This season, he came only a few uses, but was promoted the following season 2003 already for the regular player. In its third year, 2004, he secured the New Hero Award in the Nabisco Cup and was also elected in the best eleven of the season.

VfL Wolfsburg

In January 2008, he left the Urawa Red Diamonds and moved to Europe to VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. On September 2, 2013 Hasebe changed on the last day of the transfer period within the League 1 FC Nuremberg. He signed with the club a three-year contract until 30 June 2016. His debut for the FCN gave the Japanese on Matchday 5 in the 1-1 draw against Eintracht Braunschweig.

National

When the performances of the Japanese national team in early 2006 Hasebe of Zico was taken into the squad. He made his debut on 11 February 2006 against the U.S.. He was not in the squad for the 2006 World Cup, but the new coach Ivica Osim took him by the first appearances after the World Cup once again in the national team. In the 2010 World Cup Hasebe was not only in stem formation, but was determined to captain the national team coach Takeshi Okada even by the Japanese. In the January 29, 2011 to be held from 7th Asia Cup in Qatar he reached with his team the final, which was won 1-0 in extra time against Australia.
