Manner of articulation
The manner of articulation (also called articulation mode) referred to in phonetics the way of overcoming mode in the vocal tract ( vocal tract ), through which a speech sound is formed.

The articulation of the species listed are not complementary, that is, there are sounds that are, for example, both approximants and lateral or lateral, which are fricatives at the same time.
