Manorom District

Amphoe Manorom ( Thai: อำเภอ มโนรมย์ ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the northeastern part of the province ( Changwat ) Chainat. The Chainat Province is located in the northern part of the central region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Mueang Chainat, the Wat Sing Chainat Province, Amphoe Mueang Uthai Thani of Uthai Thani province, as well as Amphoe Khiri Phayuha and Takhli of Nakhon Sawan.

Management

Amphoe Manorom is ( tambon) divided into seven municipalities, which in turn in 41 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Khung Samphao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คุ้ง สำเภา ), consisting of parts of the tambon Khung Samphao,
  • Hang Nam Sakhon ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หาง น้ำ สาคร ), consisting of the whole tambon Hang Nam Sakhon and parts of U Taphao.

There are also six administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
