Martin Hujsa

Martin Hujsa ( born September 9, 1979 in Skalica, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Litvinov in the Czech Extraliga since 2011.

Career

Martin Hujsa began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the HK 36 Skalica, for its professional team, he made his debut in the Slovak Extraliga in the 1997/98 season. After six years in the top Slovak league striker moved to the league rivals HC Slovan Bratislava, with whom he first 2004 IIHF Continental Cup won, and in 2005, 2007 and 2008 respectively Slovakian champion. By winning the championship in the 2007/ 08 season Hujsa qualified his team for the newly formed Champions Hockey League, in which he in all four group matches for Slovan stood in the 2008/ 09 season on the ice and scored four points scorer.

For the 2011/12 season for HC Litvinov Hujsa moved from the Czech Extraliga.

Internationally

For Slovakia Hujsa took part in the U20 World Youth Championship 1999, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
