Martin Røymark

Martin Nikolai Røymark ( born November 10, 1986 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who is under contract with Timrå IK in the Swedish Elitserien since 2010.

Career

Martin Røymark began his career as a hockey player in the junior department Manglerud Star Ishockey for whose first team he from 2002 to 2004 in the GET ligaen, the highest Norwegian league, and after their relegation in the 2004/05 season in the sub-prime first divisjon was active. The following four years were spent the winger at the Sparta Warriors in the GET ligaen before he was hired by the Frölunda HC in the Swedish Elitserien shortly before the end of the season 2008 /09. He spent the following season with the team from Gothenburg, for a total of 65 games he played in one and a quarter years, in which he scored five goals and had four assists.

Since the season 2010/11 Røymark is in the Elitserien during Timrå IK in the Elitserien on the ice.

Internationally

For Norway Røymark took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2003 and the U18 Junior World Championship in 2004 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2005 and the Under-20 Junior World Cup in 2006 in part. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the A World Championships 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the qualifying tournament for this.
