Maurilio De Zolt

Maurilio De Zolt ( born September 25, 1950 in San Pietro di Cadore ) is an Italian former cross-country skier.

Like no other runners benefited the little Italian, who was known for his running style " Grillo " (in German Grille ), by the introduction of the skating technique. So he could the title over 50 kilometers in the free technique win at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1987. In 1994 he became Olympic champion with the Italian season. In the World Cup De Zolt could win a race in 1987.
