Mazda 737C
The Mazda 737c was a race car prototype which was built for Mazdaspeed for use in the 24 - hour race at Le Mans in the group C2. He represented the last stage of development of the original Mooncraft construction, which began with the 717C. Again, had the car the 2- rotor Wankel engine, Mazda 13B type.
Two 737c 1985 were used in 24-hour race at Le Mans and occupied the 3rd and 6th in the group C2. The 737c were also used in part in the World Sportscar Championship in 1985 and reached the 8th place for Mazdaspeed in the championship of the group C2. In the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship was fifth in the Constructors' Championship Mazda.
The 737c later ended up in the hands of private teams and Sports Prototype Championship were used after Mazda had the type replaced by the new 757 in the All Japan.
