Melitta Brunner

Melitta Brunner ( born January 28, 1907 in Vienna, † 26 May 2003 in Philadelphia ) was an Austrian figure skater, which was launched in a single run and pair skating.

In a single run was from 1926 to 1930 five times in a row, Austrian Vice - Champion, only twice Herma Szabo and then three times in Fritzi Burger. 1928 to 1930 she participated in the World Championships and won bronze at the World Championships 1929 in Budapest behind Sonja Henie and Fritzi Burger their only medal. At the Olympic Games in 1928, she was seventh.

In pair skating with Ludwig Wrede she was successful. In 1930 it was Austrian champion. At the World Cup in 1928, they won bronze in 1929 and 1930 they were runners-up, only behind their compatriots Lilly Scholz and Otto Kaiser and then behind the French Andrée and Pierre Brunet. At the Olympic Games in 1928, they won in St. Moritz Bronze.
