Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu

Mevlut Cavusoglu ( born February 5, 1968 in Alanya ) is a Turkish politician and served from January 2010 to January 2012 President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council. Since December 25, 2013 he is the successor of Egemen Bağış Minister for European Affairs of Turkey.

Life

Cavusoglu H. Emin Pasha graduated from the private school. In 1988 he received his bachelor's degree at the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Ankara Üniversitesi. With an assistant scholarship he went to the Long Iceland University, where in 1991 he received the Master and then worked as a university teacher. In 1993, he finished his training as " EU experts " at the Centre for European research at the Ankara Üniversitesi. In the same year Cavusoglu started his PhD research at Bilkent University to write. With an EU scholarship he could finish his doctoral thesis on environmental and economic upswing at the London School of Economics.

From May to October 1995, he worked for the Ministry of Environment at UNDP.

Cavusoglu was elected in the parliamentary elections of 2002 and 2007 in Turkey for the Members of Antalya Province in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the AKP.

Cavusoglu was dated 25 January 2010-January 2012 President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council.
