Mexico at the 2008 Summer Olympics
Mexico was represented by participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing a total of 21 times in the Olympic Games. The first appearance was in 1900. Carrier flag at the opening ceremony was the water jumper Paola Espinosa. At the closing ceremony, the Mexican flag was carried by the synchronous Partner of Espinosa Tatiana Ortiz. Compared to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, although the number of medals for Mexico decreased from 4 to 3, 2004, the Mexican athletes could not achieve a gold medal - in Beijing, however, they were more successful with two gold medals.
