Michal Rozsíval

Michal Rozsíval ( born September 3, 1978 in Vlašim, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is since September 2012 for the Chicago Black Hawks in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

InTschechien Rozsival played for Dukla Jihlava HC before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1996 by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fourth round at 155th. He then switched to the Swift Current Broncos in the Western Hockey League.

After two years in the WHL the Penguins in 1998 brought him into the American Hockey League to their farm team, the Syracuse Crunch. The 1999/2000 season he played throughout with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. The following year, he played half a season in the farm team for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL. He could claim his place in the NHL until he turned out by a knee injury in September 2003, the next two years.

Instead of a return to the NHL strike the League and so he returned for the 2004/ 05 season in his homeland. There he played for the HC Ocelari Trinec and HC Moeller Pardubice.

For the 2005/06 season he was able to accumulate in the NHL again. His new team was the New York Rangers. He had a successful debut. Together with Wade Redden he had the best value in the plus / minus rating.

In January 2011 Rozsíval was delivered to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Wojtek Wolski and completed by 2012 over 100 appearances for the Coyotes. On September 11, 2012, he signed a one -year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.
