Geography
Geographical Location
Michel Bach at the Bilz located on the edge of the Limpurger Mountains 5 km south of the district town of Schwäbisch Hall. The community has a share in the natural areas Swabian- Franconian Forest and Hohenlohe -Haller level. Through the main village on its eastern edge and the resulting eponymous Michel Bach moves west to nearby facilities.

The municipality is bordered to the north by the county town of Schwäbisch Hall, on the east by Obersontheim, in the south on the town Gaildorf and to the west rose garden.
Religions
Since the Reformation, Michel Bach is dominated Protestant. Even today there are only a Protestant church in the village. The Roman Catholics are the parish to Schwäbisch Hall.

The gift-giving cup reminds us of the gift-giving of Limpurg and their centuries-long relationship with the community. The coat of arms was granted by the Ministry of Economy Baden -Württemberg on 29 June 1957.

Traffic
Michel Bach formerly possessed a breakpoint on the railway line Crailsheim -Heilbronn, which has since been closed. Closest train station is now Schwäbisch Hall Hessental.
Public institutions
The volunteer firefighters Michel Bach at the Bilz consists of the departments using department, youth fire brigade, marching band and age and honor department. The Operations Department is divided into two departments Michel Bach and Gschlachtenbretzingen.
Education
In Michel Bach, there are two municipal and one Protestant kindergarten and a primary school. There is also the parochial school center Michel Bach, including a junior high school, a high school building, a school and a boarding school.
Culture and sights
Michel Bach is located on the Swabian poet road that leads past many sights.
Structures
The castle was built in the early 17th century building later became educational institutions such as a boarding school and a high school building. Meanwhile, there are the boarding student at the Ev. Teaching Institutions Michel Bach housed.
On a spur of the mountains at Limpurger Buchhornplatz are the remains of the castle Buchhornplatz.
