Mike Crapo

Michael Dean Crapo ( born May 20, 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho ) is an American politician and United States Senator from the state of Idaho.

Life

Crapo was born the son of Melba Olsen and George Lavelle Crapo in a Mormon family. After leaving school, Crapo studied law and received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1973. At Harvard Law School, he graduated in 1977, Juris Doctor. In the 1980 Crapo worked as a lawyer in Idaho Falls, Idaho, worked and became a member of the Republican Party. Since January 3, 1993 to January 3, 1999 Crapo was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States. Since then, Crapo is a member of the Senate of the United States.

In June 1974 Crapo Susan Diane Hasleton married and has five children with his wife.
