Mirette ( Original title: Mirette on the High Wire ) is a children's book by Emily Arnold McCully, which among other things was honored in 1993 with a Caldecott Medal.

Action

Mirette tells a poetic tale from the world of the circus. The fairytale story wears around 1890 in Paris. The ten-year Mirette adores an aging Acrobat.
