Moncalvo
Moncalvo is a municipality with 3146 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Asti (AT ), Region Piedmont.
Geography
The village lies at an altitude of 305 m s.l.m. in Montferrat. The municipality covers an area of 17 km ².
The neighboring municipalities are Alfiano Natta, Castelletto Merli, Cereseto, Grana, Grazzano Badoglio, Ottiglio, Penango and Ponzano Monferrato.

Moncalvo is dominated by a fortress from the 14th century, which was expanded in the aftermath of the Monferrater Marquis.
