Monterosso Calabro

Monterosso Calabro is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1781 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Vibo Valentia in Calabria. The municipality is situated approximately 20 km east-northeast of Vibo Valentia and directly borders the province of Catanzaro. Portions of the township in the midst of Serre lie in the Regional Natural Park delle Serre. To the northwest is located on the boundary of the municipality of Lago Angitola.
