Morten Green
Morten Green ( born March 19, 1981 in Hørsholm ) is a Danish ice hockey player standing since the 2013/14 season with the Schwenningen Wild Wings from the German ice hockey league under contract.

Career
Morten Green began his career as a hockey player in his native Denmark at Rungsted IK, for which he was active in the AL-Bank Ligaen 1996-1999. He then moved to Leksand IF in the Swedish Elitserien, where he gave five assists in his rookie year in the 1999/2000 season, in 40 games. Although he was used regularly joined the winger for the following two years the IF Troja Ljungby - out of the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan on before he ran aground 2003-2006 for the Elitserien participants MODO Hockey. At this time the links Sagittarius also played for second division Örnsköldsviks SK, IF Sundsvall Hockey and Rögle BK. From 2006 to 2009 Green was playing for Leksand IF in the HockeyAllsvenskan and reached with his team in all three seasons, the Kvalserien, but missed this with the team each ascent. From 2009 to 2012 Green stood for Leksand League rivals Malmö Redhawks on the ice.
After 13 years in Sweden striker joined the 2012/13 season in the German Ice Hockey League to the Hannover Scorpions. For the following season the Schwenningen Wild Wings take him in the DEL under contract.
Internationally
For Denmark Green took part in the U18 B Junior World Championship in 1999 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2000 and the U20 Junior World Championship 2001 C at junior level. In the senior level, he stood in the squad of his country at the B World Championships in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and at the A World Championships in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Moreover, he ran for Denmark in the qualifying tournaments for the 2006 Winter Olympics and 2010. At the World Championships in 2007, 2009 and 2010 he was an assistant captain and at the World Championships in 2011 and 2012 captain of the Danish national team.
