Mözen
Mözen is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Mözen is located on the B 432 between Leezen and Bad Segeberg. The adjacent Mözener lake has an area of 131 ha and is owned by a local fishing cooperative. The use of motorized watercraft on the lake is prohibited.
History
Mözen was first mentioned in 1137 as Mozinke. At that time the village belonged to the monastery Segeberg.
Policy
All nine seats in the municipal council are held by the voter community AKPV since the municipal election of 2008.
