Muhammad Ali al-Halabi

Mohammed Ali al -Halabi (Arabic: محمد علي الحلبي; born 1937 in Damascus ) is a former Syrian diplomat and politician.

Life

Mohammed Ali al -Halabi is married with Lamis Halabi and a member of the Baath Party. In 1955 he became a teacher in the Golan and from 1959 to 1964 he was employed as a teacher in Kuwait; of June 9, 1973 to 27 March 1978, he was Chairman and Speaker of the People's Council.
