Nawa (Arabic نوى, Nawa DMG ) is a city in the south of Syria in Daraa governorate.

The city is located 85 km south of Damascus and 40 km north of Daraa in the Hauran region. Its population is 62 429 (calculated 2012).

Most inhabitants live on agriculture. There are mainly cultivated potatoes, tomatoes and corn. There are also very many olive trees and grape vines. Nawa is one of the largest cities in southern Syria with many historic buildings from the Roman period. It is home to the alleged grave of Noah's son Sem

Nawa is between many hills and lakes. The weather is mild all year round with warm summers and mild winters. The village is located about 570 meters above the sea level.
