Negernbötel
Negernbötel is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. Hamdorf situated in the municipality, which has existed in its present form since 1974. This includes the districts Heidkaten, Stüff and lapwing Holm.

Geography and transport
Negernbötel and about 7 km northwest of Bad Segeberg in a rural environment. The Federal Highway 404/Bundesautobahn 21 of Bad Segeberg to Bad Oldesloe crosses the municipality, to the south runs the federal highway 206 from Bad Segeberg to Lübeck.
History
Long bed tombs and other archaeological finds prove a Stone Age settlement of the township.
The place was first mentioned in the late 12th century.
Until 1600, the area around Negernbötel was very wet due to lazy Travelodge, after large areas were drained.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1974, the neighboring community Hamdorf was incorporated.
