Nemanja Vučićević ( born August 11, 1979 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player.

Career

Association

Nemanja Vučićević is used as a striker and an attacking midfielder. He is a technically gifted player.

His career began in the summer of 2000 at OFK Belgrade in Serbia. A year later, he moved abroad and signed for two years with Lokomotiv Moscow in the first Russian league. There, however, he was not right for the course and returned in September 2003 back to OFK Belgrade. At the end of the season Vučićević was without a club.

A commitment by the TSV 1860 Munich failed initially at the different salary. The 2004/05 season was Vučićević then the second round obligation. After the match against Wacker Burghausen on 4 November 2005 Vučićević tested positive for the banned substance finasteride. He was subsequently suspended for six months.

Vučićević moved to season 2007/ 08 free 1 FC Cologne. He received a two-year contract. His expiring contract was not renewed.

In the 2009/10 season Vučićević stood at Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel under contract, but was thrown back by a six-month injury. After the season he moved free transfer to AO Kavala in Greece, where he also remained for only one season long. After he then played in Cyprus Anorthosis Famagusta for half a year, he moved in early 2012 to Turkey for Manisaspor. On 2 July 2012, he began a four-week trial with the Japanese first division club FC Tokyo and signed on August 6, one-year contract. This contract was not renewed in early 2014 and Vučićević is therefore without a club.
