Nenad Bilbija (born 6 February 1984 in Celje) is a Slovenian handball player. Since 2011 he plays for TSV GWD Minden in the Bundesliga.

Career

Bilbija suffering from red-green color blindness, his handball career began in his hometown at the RK Celje. With Celje he was in 2004 and 2005 Slovenian champion and won the 2004 EHF Champions League.

2005 moved Bilbija to Spain, where he was initially the second division BM Cangas and then at Bidasoa Irun under contract. After the descent of Bidasoa from the league ASOBAL, he moved to the top team BM Valladolid. With Valladolid he won the 2009 European Cup Winners' Cup and played in the seasons 2009 /10 and 2010/11 in the EHF Champions League.

In summer 2011 he moved Bilbija to Germany, where he signed the second division GWD Minden. In the season 2011/12 he came only on 21 missions in which he scored 91 hits due to an injury of the Achilles tendon. At the end of the season he rose to Minden as second division champions in the Bundesliga.
