Neighboring communities
New churches bordered to the north Merzen, on the west by Voltlage, to the east by Bramsche and on the south by the North Rhine- Westphalian communities Westerkappeln, Mettingen and distance ( district of Steinfurt ).
Community structure
Districts are: New churches, Limbergen, Lintern, Rothertshausen, Steinfeld and Vinte. Part of the district Lintern is the " peasantry " Egypt. Although Egypt is not an official part of the community, however, but a contiguous area that enjoys a certain fame for his name's sake.
History
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the municipalities Limbergen, Lintern, Rothertshausen, Steinfeld and Vinte were incorporated.
