Neuilly-sur-Marne

Neuilly -sur -Marne is a French town with 34.005 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Seine- Saint- Denis and the Ile- de -France region. The city is located east of Paris, about 90 m above sea level on the northern banks of the Marne. Its inhabitants are called Nocéens.

Nationwide became famous for the city in November 2005 through prolonged unrest that took their origin in this region.

Attractions

An archaeological site points out that this place was inhabited 8,500 years ago. Were funded on a tributary of the Marne to light bones, tools and weapons. Visits are possible by arrangement with the mayor's office.
