Neveklovice

Neveklovice ( German: Neweklowitz ) is a municipality in Okres Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. With only 45 inhabitants, it is one of the smallest municipalities of okres.

Geography

The village lies on a hill between the valleys of the Zábrdka ( Kleiniserbach ) and the Malá Mohelka ( Small Mohelka ). About the elongated ridge the road from the Monastery and Hradiště nad Jizerou goes according Osečná. Neighboring towns are Mukařov in the west, and Jivina Mohelnice nad Jizerou in the south, the east and Chocnějovice Strážiště in the north.

History

Neveklovice belonged in the Middle Ages to the parish Mukařov whose settlements were late, after the 12th century, created the Cistercian monks of the monastery Hradiště. The toponym itself is first delivered in 1400. In modern times, the village was part of the community Jivina. Since 1920 it is independent.

The 2001 census showed Neveklovice than pure residential and leisure area. 100 % of the resident working population worked outside the community. About 60 % of all residential buildings were used as seasonal cottages inhabited.

  • In the village square there is a small chapel and a group of two protected Linden.
