Rabakov

Rabakov is a small community Okres Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers east of Mlada Boleslav at the boundary between two regions of the Středočeský and the Hradec Králové Region. 2006 there were 47 inhabitants located here. Rabakov belongs to the marginal zone of the tourist region Bohemian Paradise.

Geography

Rabakov has good transport links. The village is situated on the road 279 between the towns of Domousnice and Ujkovice and also has connection to the local railway # 63 of Bakov nad Jizerou after Kopidlno. The municipal area includes 85 ha of arable land, 67 hectares of forest and a 2 -hectare fish pond.

History

The oldest transcript of the name dates back to 1445th In neighboring Domousnice originated in the late Middle Ages a small noble manorial system, which also belonged Rabakov. As a part of this rule, the town is mentioned in 1573.

From 1974 to 1992 Rabakov was incorporated in Domousnice. Since 1992, the community is self-employed again.

Attractions

A local collector has been serving Rabakov 1964 in a private motorcycle museum, which is now nationally known. The exhibition includes about 45 historic road and race machines. The basis is the complete series of Jawa (1929 to 1999), including the oldest Jawa 500 OHW of 1929. The oldest exhibit is a three-seat Čechie Böhmerland 600 tourist from the year 1927. All machines on display are restored and ready to drive.
