Career

The first tournament in the professional career of Kyrgios was qualifying for the 2012 Australian Open, where he lost his Erstrundenbegegnung against Frenchman Mathieu Rodrigues in three sets. Rest of the year, he participated in various tournaments of the ITF Futures Tour part where he once reached the semi-finals and was able to gain some points for the tennis world rankings.
