Nikolay Anikin

Nikolai Petrovich Anikin (Russian Николай Петрович Аникин; born January 25, 1932 in Ishim, † November 14, 2009 in Duluth, Minnesota, USA) was a Russian cross country skier who competed for the Soviet Union in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

His greatest achievement is winning the gold medal with the Soviet 4x10 km relay at the Winter Olympics in 1956. Four years later, two Olympic bronze medals were added, he also won a silver in 1958 World Cup medal. Anikin received in 1957 for his services the Soviet decorations.
