Niseko, Hokkaido

Niseko (Japaneseニセコ 町, -chō ) is a town in the district Abuta, sub-prefecture Shiribeshi, Hokkaidō Prefecture in Japan.

Geography

It is located 35 km from the Sea of ​​Japan and about 100 km west of Sapporo and is surrounded by several ski resorts. The average annual temperature is 7.4 ° C which, together with a rainfall of 131.1 mm annual average to very snow-sure ratios results (snow height up to 200 cm).

History
