Nordland

Nordland is a province (county ) in Norway. Beginning in July 2013 here live 239,800 people on 38,460 km ² (of which land area is 36,074 km ²). The provincial capital is Bodo. To the territory of the province of North Country include the Lofoten Islands and the southern areas of Vesterålen.

The Norwegian island of Jan Mayen is managed by the province of North country, is not a part of the province, but a part of the Kingdom of Norway.
