Nottfeld
Nottfeld (Danish: Notfeld ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. Breau, Niefeld and Nottfeld lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Nottfeld is located about 17 km northeast of Schleswig, and 12 km southwest of Kappeln between the federal highway 201 from Husum to Kappeln and the Schlei.
History
Built in 1787, the Danish King Christian VII Hunting Lodge " Christianslyst " in Nottfeld that stood until 1864 under the Danish crown. Since 1952 it is used by the Danish minority as a youth training center.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community KWN has all seven seats in the municipal council.
Economy
The community is predominantly agricultural.
